The CIMB Visa Signature Credit Card gives 10% cashback on Online Shopping, Groceries, Beauty & Wellness, Pet Shops & Veterinary Services and Cruises.
The 10% cashback for each category is capped at S$20 per month and for the card as a whole is capped at S$100 a month. All other spending only earns a low 0.2% cashback.
Overall, we estimate you can earn a reward yield of 0.6-2.7% on all spending with this card in a month.
The CIMB Visa Signature is a decent entry level card but at higher levels of spending the rewards rate is hurt by the relatively low caps as well as the limited choice of categories.
