KrisFlyer UOB Credit Card

The KrisFlyer UOB Card is one of our favorite credit cards in Singapore because it offers the best overall rewards of any card in Singapore if you spend more than about S$4,000 a month on your cards.

It offers 3 miles per dollar spent on high spend categories like Dining & Food Delivery, Online Shopping, Transport and Travel with no caps. The only condition for earning high rewards is a minimum annual spend of S$500 with Singapore Airlines Group (incl. Scoot) and KrisShop.

First 100 new-to-UOB customers singing up for KrisFlyer UOB Card in September will receive a reward of 12,000 KrisFlyer miles after spending S$1,500 on the card in the first 30 days.

The KrisFlyer UOB Credit Card is one of our favorite credit cards in Singapore. It gives you 3 miles per dollar spent on Dining & Food Delivery, Online Shopping, Transport and Travel. The overall reward yield on the card ranges from 2.5-2.8%, which is the highest of any rewards card in Singapore.

It is one of the few cards that allow free transfer of miles to your KrisFlyer account, while most other banks charge $25-40 for each transfer. In fact, the card automatically transfer the miles to your Krisflyer account every month.

You do need to spend a minimum of S$500 annually with Singapore Airlines Group – that includes Singapore Airlines, Scoot and KrisShop, to get the best rewards using this card. If you do not meet this minimum, you only earn 1.2 miles or about 1.68% on all your spend.

It is also worth noting that the bonus rewards earned on the special categories (Dining, Travel etc.) are only received at the end of every year (of card membership). So you only receive 1.2 miles per $ spent initially and the remaining 1.8 miles per $ are received at the end of the year.
