The Bottom Line

ICICI Bank VISA Signature Credit Card
Great Option for High-spending Customers

5 "Hand-picked Reward" points / ₹100 on foreign spends, 4 points on travel bookings, 2 points on restaurants & hotels and 1 point on all other spends. 2x rewards on ₹5lacs+.

Monthly Spend ₹5K ₹10K ₹20K ₹50K ₹100K
Net Reward Yield -2.7%^ -0.8%^ 0.2% 1.0% 1.6%
Est. Monthly Reward (₹) (140) (80) 40 500 1,550
All-India Rewards Rank* 297 293 271 133 50
Within Bank Rank* 29 29 28 6 1
* Based on est. net reward yield for nearly 400 credit cards in India, for each monthly spending level. Read about how we calculate the net reward yield here.

^The negative figure means at this level of monthly spends, the rewards earned in a year will be worth less than the annual fee.

The ICICI Bank VISA Signature Credit Card gives 3.25% effective rewards on foreign spends, 2.60% on travel, 1.30% on dining and 0.65% on all other spending. If you charge more than ₹5 lacs to the card in a year, the rewards for all spending above ₹5 lacs are doubled.

Overall, we estimate you can earn a net reward yield of 1.0 – 1.6% on monthly spending above ₹50,000 with this card, making this possibly the best credit card for high spenders from ICICI Bank.

However, this card has a very high joining fee of ₹25,000 and you receive 30,000 Hand-picked Reward points in return. These points are worth ₹19,500 for redemption on popular websites like MakeMyTrip and Amazon.in.

This means the effective joining fee is ₹5,500 and the (non-waivable) annual fee from the second year onward is ₹2,000.

Because of the high fee and relatively low improvement in net rewards yield, the ICICI VISA Signature is not our pick for high spenders with ICICI Bank.

If your monthtly spending is much higher than ₹1 lacs per month, then it may make sense for you to pay the high fee and take this card anyway. Otherwise consider our recommendations below.

The Mine Credit Card is the best credit card from ICICI Bank for most people.

Sign up for the PRO 49 plan if you are spending less than ₹20,000 a month on your card. The PREMIUM 149 plan is best if you are spending between ₹20,000 – 50,000.

You can earn a net reward yield of 1.4-1.8% on all your spending with this credit card.

If you are spending more than ₹50,000 a month on your card, the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card is the best option from ICICI Bank. We estimate you can earn a net reward yield of 1.2% with this card.
