* Based on est. net reward yield for nearly 400 credit cards in India, for each monthly spending level. Read about how we calculate the net reward yield here.

^The negative figure means at this level of monthly spends, the rewards earned in a year will be worth less than the annual fee.

The IDFC FIRST Private Credit Card is an invite only credit card. It gives 1.50% effective reward on all online purchases and 0.5% on all offline spending, for the first ₹30,000 spent in a month.

This card gets a lot better if you spend more than ₹30,000 in a month. All spending in excess of this amount each month earns a flat 2.5% reward.

The FIRST Private has a very high annual fee of ₹50,000, because of which we do not see positive net reward yield with this card even at monthly spending level of ₹1 lacs+.

We think the FIRST Wealth Credit Card is the best credit card for most IDFC FIRST Bank customers.

For the first ₹30,000 spent in a month, this card gives effective rewards of 1.5% for all online purchases while offline spending earns 0.75%, for an average net reward yield of 1.1%.

However, in a manner similar to the FIRST Private, this card also becomes attractive if you spend more than ₹30,000 in a month.

All spending in excess of this amount each month earns a flat 2.50% reward, resulting in a net reward yield of almost 2.5% if you charge more than ₹1 lacs in a month.
